Rip Nala :(

[Hangin Wit My Peeps]

Hubby had to cull our lil beauty Nala tonight because of something wrong with her leg and she was not improving and acting in a lot of pain from it. We believe it got broken somehow

We tried our best and the other hens would attack her so she was all alone and just depressed. It was best for her but not so much for us. I can tell how hard it was on my hubby

She was his favorite girl who liked him the most. I feel so bad for him

He did it quick though, within a second it was all over. Just a sad day for us.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Nala was a beautiful girl, and I'm sure you made the decision for her benefit and to end her suffering.

Sometimes that's the best thing we can do for the critters we love, no matter how hard it is for us. Big hugs to you and your husband.

today was so strange going out to feed and water and NO Nala Bean to say hello to. She would always talk back to me when I talked to her. Still so sad over her loss

She was the friendliest little girl too.

P.s. I have a white Shepherd named Nala....... .....pretty name for a chicken too... she was beautiful.
