RIP NEMO

I had to put down my favorite rooster this am. His name was Nemo, I hatched him in an incubator, he was my first chick to hatch ever. He broke his leg as a day old chick, I raised him anyway, he got along good on only one leg. when his hatchmates moved out to the coop i kept him in the house and he raised my duckling, it was sooo cute, at six weeks old he adopted the duckling like a mother hen, he would preen it, and make little mother hen noises to it. They both moved outside three weeks ago. He did real well at first, got around great, even learned to fly around to move real fast.Then three days ago i found him laying out side in the rain, he was real weak and couldnt stand up very well. i brought him back in the house, to take care of him, he had a sore on his leg that had gotten infected, unfortunatly despite my efforts he just got weaker so i decided to end his suffering today
