RIP Rockey

Sad news this morning. Rocky our silkey roo passed away in my arms this morning. Rocky was a little over 8 years old and was our first rooster. He was a gentle roo but kept a constant watch over his girls. He spent the last 8 months in retirement with 2 hens to keep him company. He loved blueberries but always made sure his girls got there share before he would eat his.

Oh what a beautiful Boy. 8 years...Wow. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s wonderful to hear that he was a beloved Roo. Without a doubt he had a wonderful long life.
