speckledhen,
what causes so many of your chickens to have internal laying? Is there a thread that discusses this? Is it odd that 4 of yours have it, or is it just something that we can expect? The reason Im wondering is because I have a white leghorn that laid continuously until about almost 2 months ago. Then, she laid a huge, and I mean huge egg, and then a couple of eggs with blood on them, then a gross long white mushy thing was hanging out of her, then nothing since. No eggs, and nothing gross either. Just done. How does one know if this is happening? And how can you avoid it? Or can you?
