I'm writing this and I can't stop crying I just walked outside to find my dog eating my most favorite silkie.

I have no idea how he got ahold of her. The run she was in looked like it had been pushed it up in the corner and created a gap he's too big to have gone in there and gotten her and she was the type to have huddled in the corner not sneak thru a crack. My fence is seven tall and solid rock and steel so I'm not sure if something else could have gotten in my fence and done this and he simply was enjoying a free snack leftover from last night. I just don't know what happened and it's killing me. My favorite dog was eating my favorite chicken. I'm just so sad now it's horrible. Does anyone know where I can get a small electric fence type hot wire setup to attach to my run to prevent this from ever happening again? I thought my chickens were safe, I was wrong

Which side of town are you on? Pet's Barn on Dyer has electric fence I think, Lowes probably does, the feed store in Canutillo does. I'm sitting in Starbucks on Transmountain right now across from Wal Mart. I'm pretty sure North East Feeds has them too.

I don't even have the slightest idea how to set one up but I'm going to figure it out. I'm in the far east off joe battle and pebble hills

Get either a small electrical unit or a solar unit, plastic fence insulators and wire. You don't need the big fancy ones that will hold a raging bull elephant. Call around around and ask about small animal electric fencing and make sure they don't think you are taking about the invisible electric fence to keep your dogs in the yard,, that is what city folk in El Paso think. Since you are closer to the Lower Valley, look up Valley Feed on North Loop, they will usually have what you are looking for. I'll check around here,, I'm blowing in time in El Paso waiting for someone from Freecycle.
