Ripped combs! Disinfecting? Help!

My mom saw a cat near the coop and shooed it away, and after school I came to check on the and there faces were bloodied and one of their combs was ripped.There was blood on the wire, so they must have torn it in an attempt to get away from the cat! What can I do to disinfect?! Please Help!

the cat must have come again, because they were freaking out again. I put them in their coop and they calmed down and flew up on the roost.

Can you wash them with some hydrogen peroxide ??? I'd use a clean rag to wipe it on with.
I'm a nurse and haven't had the need to patch up chikkies yet. LOL Hope this helps.

Any antibiotic without pain killers will help keep infection out. Watch them to be sure they aren`t cannibalizing the bloody hens. Get rid of that cat.........Pop

personally, I don't do any treatment for combs when they tear. They do tend to bleed alot which flushes them out good and they heal well on their own. I would tend to that pesty cat tho.
