I have Rode island reds the same age too! looks like a rooster to me, my pullets' combs are almost non existent still, yours is red and medium sized, i'd say rooster.

Oh man as much as I love roosters, they are illegal in my city....so I'm just hoping she's a she or he doesn't start crowing
