Here's is an update. It's two weeks since I last posted this one and people were quite mixed :)

She was apparently 7wks when she came to me (I think she was younger). Based on this 7wks, she would be 15-16wks now.

The RIR is 2kg and the LS is 3kg. They've been on growers pellets since they came to me 9wks ago. This was them (supposedly!) at 7wks.

Hmm, then the problem was not likely with you. It's strange. Mine were fully feathered at 6 weeks, and one was indeed a Sussex. I think they were fed cheap layer pellets before you got them. It creates stunted growth and problems with reproduction, so it would make sense that combs and roo feathers were stunted.
