So Our beautiful gold laced wyandotte has been laying an egg every other day religiously for a month now. She lays them anywhere she pleases in the run (has yet to lay in the boxes!) Our RIR just started laying last week in a box (so proud) and has laid one a day for the last week now. (Wyandotte eggs have speckles and the RIR are solid) Well since the RIR started laying the Wyandotte has stopped, it's been 1 1/2 weeks now. They only have supervised free range time, so she can't be hiding them somewhere.

They get perfect nutrition, protein, greens, treats scratch etc every so often, mealworms, crickets - oxine or vitamins in their water (on different days of course!)

Any ideas, yes the daylight is short but we have a light go off at 6am to wake them up and then they are all on their roosts at 5-5:30 no matter what we do! (they do need their beauty sleep)

Now we did have a few die lately of meraks (it's the worst part, losing my girls) but Beatrice the Wyandotte is huge, very alert and very healthy.
