i have five rhode island reds that i got this past spring if anyone has had them b4 please tell me whether their first eggs where small or not thanks

Most hens, regardless of breed, start off by laying small eggs at first and some need a few weeks' practice before laying proper size eggs. During those few weeks you may get anything from tiny pullet eggs, to super size double yolk eggs to shell less eggs.
