How sweet!! Your chicks are so pretty.

I hope to get some RIR's at my local farm store this week. The ordered some extra chicks to sell when they put in people's special orders and I'm hoping they have extra RIR's since I didn't make it in by their order deadline!

What a great way to let them get comfortable with you and to get them to be older friendly hens. That is fabulous. [IMG]

We have 12 RIR's about the same age. They are so sweet. Our Roo is sweeter than the hens.

Adorable! Mine are 4-1/2 weeks. Glad to know their head feathers will come out soon. [IMG]

My RIR girls are the friendliest of my whole chick flock. They are the first ones to run up to see me when I open the brooder door. [IMG]
