my four week old RIR chicks are feathered out and I have three that are the dark red color,but the rest are real light orange and white,the same color exactly as my golden comets,the golden comets are about six months old,,I have read that TSC does get their chicks mixed up at times,,I am wondering if I have RIRs and golden comets that may have gotten mixed
I got some RIR at the TSC as well, and just as you described I have 2 that are like almost white. Kinda looks like there color never came. I dunno, we shall see. I looked up the Comets, either way I am happy. But I was gonna ask this question as well.
