the waves crashed, the winds blew.a young jackel pup sat on the rivers bank wailing. And crying to herself,"I'm so sorry!"the pup cried, she sat in front of he dead bodies of her family,"I'm SO sorry!"she wailed yet again over the crying and howling winds.
She walked away, the wind howling, she stopped, dead in her tracks."stop crying, Keira"her mother spoke,"your alive?!"the young pup, Keira asked.
Her mother, Serena nodded,"yes dear, not for long though"she replied.keira cried.serena spoke, her dying words,"Keira.you now lead the all the dogs, foxes and all the other Animals that live here"she said, she shuddered then died.
Keira screamed,"NO!NO!"she wailed.she dug her claws into the ground in her anger."I will lead them the best I can"she replied........
Many years have passed and keira is now dead.they are not real dogs or foxes or anything.they are shapeshifters.keiras daughter is now leader.her name is Shadow, named after Keira's sister, and she is a jackel.
