Personally, I think children are easier.

Ducks I feel like are probably the most work out of raising any farm life. Even when they are bigger they are still a lot. It's just cause they are messy

They really are. Especially pekin cause they are so large they can't fly

Depends on how you look at it. Sure the ducks are messier but they are also much hardier than chickens.

It's a mix of australorp, rhode island reds, isa browns, and another one I can't remember

Australorps and ISA Browns are two of my favorite breeds.
