Roam Free Roleplay

If you are reading the RP why aren't you doing any?
(

I have three, but I'm having a hard time getting them started. Rageada is available, but I don't think there's anyone active in the Mountains to interact with her. (I did a post of her earlier.) Tait and Mercedes are in the Wetlands, but I got to figure out what to do with them. (I probably need to tare (tear? tair? Is this just my Maine accent?) Tait away from his mother so I can have some fun with him.))

( Wetlands- border between Marshes and Badlands )

Spruce saw the tyrant running at him. His first thought was that she was gonna kill him. He started to run half way hobbling and then fell. AGAIN. This time he heard her clearly." Are you alright? " she asked. He stared at her confused. " Your poor foot "
He was suprised to hear sympathy from a tribe who calls him a traitor. Surely she knew who he was, right? " Uuuhh" he choked " W-w-who are you? You must have me mistaken for someone else". Then all of a sudden it hit him like a Shellback's tail. All the irrational acts he made all of the ignorance. He felt foolish. He stared down at his foot. A feeling of dismay as he was slowly becoming light headed but not enough for him to pass out. I hope I get to see my sister before I die he thought although he wasn't sure if it was his time yet or not.

(Spoiler, It wasn't):wee
Her jaw dropped as he fell and her concern deepened as his eyes closed. Surely a rattlesnake bite wouldn't kill a tyrant of his size, injurious to his health though it might be. But that was hardly a consolation. He was in a bad way, and so far from any help.
Zara tried to remember what she knew about snake bites.
"Don't panic," she said. "That causes the poison to spread faster."
She felt silly for saying that. Clearly the dinosaur was already following that advice to the T. Now as for herself...
"Oh why are we from home! What can I do to help? And it's all my fault! If I hadn't scared him off he would have seen that snake..."

(Tait and his mother could possibly still be nearby if Zara didn't go too far from them? Extra claws to carry him? )

Cragan swallowed. He hadn't expected to incite such an outburst. Wait, he is a spy? He'd been expecting the Wetlander to at least attempt to clear himself, give some weak, ambiguous excuse. He wasn't particularly fond of the Wetlanders but he would have at least given him a chance. But even though it was to his disadvantage, Spruce's guilty plea seemed to be a lie.

"Sheesh," said Cragan. "I don't actually think he was a spy. But I guess maybe this proves he wanted to leave."
Arran offered a disbelieving sound.
The tyrant just wanted to fit in somewhere, but since he’d left his original tribe, and now the Canyon Runners, his chances were all but shattered.
“I don’t know,” he said, shaking his head to clear it. “All I can see in his future now is becoming a scavenger.”

He paused for a moment, then sniffed the air, turning in the direction he scented. “We still looking for those hadrosaurs?” He asked.

Tear? :)

I think @Chicken poppy and @Lovely Lettie both have active Mountaineer characters..

Cragan felt bad for him now. Personally, he would hate life as a scavenger. He nodded solemnly.
For a moment, Cragan had forgotten the original object of their being at the Wetland border. After all that had passed, it seemed a bit inappropriate to continue their jolly hunt, but what else was there to do? Spruce had crossed over the Wetlander border.
"Yeah," he replied, sniffing as well. "I think... I think I might smell some that way," he said, pointing with his tiny arm in the direction of the scent. "But unfortunately that's Wetlander territory."

Yeah we can absolutely do that. I should be on soon to do one.
(I have this started if you want to jump on:
Rageada held her head low to the ground, barely touching the dirt with her front claws. Her tail wagged only a little. More would be too obvious. She came to a boulder and crouched behind it. She glanced over her shoulder, but nobody was following her.
Good, she smiled. She grabbed the boulder and pulled herself upright, peering over the green landscape. Yellow flowers waved against the tall grass and a nearby stream trickled its way down the mountainside.
Rageada turned her back to the boulder and slid to a seat.  Nothing, she tightened her jaw. Boring flowers, boring grass... Why did it have to be so boring? There had to be something exciting somewhere. Or at least something she could terrorize.
She crossed her tiny arms. Wait on an avalanche, maybe she was at the wrong place? Maybe she got her direction wrong or....
"Ha!" Rageada jumped up. Get  her direction wrong? Never! She was talented. Skilled! She would  never get something as simple as a hunting spot wrong. This was someone else's doing, and she was going to figure out who's.
She snuck around the boulder and studied the faraway treeline. There had to be someone down there, she knew it. Rageada sniffed the brisk air, but she could only smell the stream on her right. The wind's wrong, she stared hard. The breeze would be just enough to warn others that she was coming if she wasn't careful. She turned to her left and snuck down through the thick grass. Maybe circling around would be enough to throw others off.
