The Purina raiser would be great just provide eggs shells or oyster shells on the side, no need to switch feeds. How old are you ducklings? I let mine free- range around 5-8 weeks or so.

my ducklings are a little over two weeks but they’ve grown in size so much since i’ve got them! do they eat the egg shells? how does that work? still new to this sorry hahah

Are they going to be inside fencing once they are outside? Just know many of us free range but that comes with losses too since predators are always on the look out for a free meal.

Even though there is always risk especially from flying predators there isn’t a nicer view than looking out an seeing our ducks being ducks. If I had to keep mine penned I think I would choose not to have any poultry.

If you have only ducks you could get the Purina duck pellets. It has everything a duck needs for their whole lives. The girls will need a bowl of oyster shells for them separately once they get ready to lay.
