That was fun to see and what a beautiful place!! So sorry to hear about your crummy neighbor's. We're having neighbor drama, too, and it's no fun. Maybe your neighbors will watch the show and soften up a bit (or at least know that you are not alone and see your chickens in a slightly different light?)? Thanks for helping to get the word out that chickens are AWESOME!!!

It was a great segment for backyard flocks with or without mentioning BYC. Great Job, Cheryl and Rob!

Cheryl, sorry to hear about your roos . . . hope everything gets resolved favorably.

I'm glad it was on today and that my daughters were shown with Cheryl's hens throughout all the teasers!! They had some great shots of them petting and holding the chickens which really helps people see them as pets!

We were shocked they didn't mention BYC, especially during the montage of other websites, but at least they got a good shot of the Dummies book. It's also pretty hard to search online for anything chicken related and not eventually stumble on BYC, so hopefully the peeps will find us:fl

Emily and I were WAY impressed with Cheryl's parts… she came across smashingly well! Cheryl, thanks so much for letting us do the filming over at your place!

Well done Rob, Cheryl and Andy!!! And congratulations to the adorable Ludlow girls on their television debut!

I AM a huge TODAY Show fan, however I'm not a Jenna Wolf fan and this piece didn't elevate her status as a reporter in my mind. "The Chicken Dance" song? Really Jenna? Come on. Backyard chicken-keeping is a serious and seriously fun hobby for many of us. Spending time featuring chicken diapers versus imparting chicken-keeping basics to the un-initiated was unfortunate. I think many people are intrigued by chicken-keeping but this piece wasn't very informative to the average viewer. Shame on NBC for neglecting to mention BYC. That would have been useful information to include in the piece.

Sorry to hear about your roos and your neighbors, Cheryl. I feel your pain. We had the same issue with our town. The reason they didn't make us get rid of our chickens is because they're DEAD WRONG on their interpretation of the zoning code and they would've lost on appeal. We got rid of our roos to appease the neighbor and b/c we're not serious breeders but I woudn't worry too much about the city unless you know that you're in violation for certain. Good luck with it and keep us posted!
