Rocks vs grit

If I have rocks/stones in my run, is it necessary to leave out grit? What about oysters?

You shouldn't need to leave out grit. As for oyster shells, they do need those or crushed egg shells if they aren't on layer feed.

I find grit and OS cheap enough to leave out anyway. The barely touch the grit even less OS. Limerock, I guess, has most of what they need.

As long as the rocks are the right size (about small pea size for an adult, standard hen) and the area they're in is accessible every day to them, then no need to provide grit. Oyster shell for laying hens is recommended, though if you live in an area with lots of limestone they may be getting enough from the environment.
