. 4 or 5 hens. Maybe 5 or 6 bantams. It might fit 8-10, if they were sandwiched in there.

I've been getting so many answers.i fell like in total it would fit 12 mixed, 13 bantams or 10 large fowl.

Hmm, one of the reviews say it all: Might hold 8 chickens, they keep 2 in it and its still small.

Eh...ok. I lost one the other day to wet pox. I had crop fed the little guy, but it was too late...he could barely breathe.

And then today a pretty lil pullet - about fourteen weeks old, I think - mom is EE - got attacked by a dog, I think. We have a stray that's been hanging around. I think she'll pull through with proper care, though.

I had this same coop once- and my answer is: ABSOLUTE maximum of five standard hens and MAXIMUM of 8 bantams- if you don't want smothered chickens!

EDITED: Mine was not the same BRAND of coop, but same dimensions and basically same pen....
