RodNTN's chat thread!

Eh...ok. I lost one the other day to wet pox. I had crop fed the little guy, but it was too late...he could barely breathe. :hit

And then today a pretty lil pullet - about fourteen weeks old, I think - mom is EE - got attacked by a dog, I think. We have a stray that's been hanging around. I think she'll pull through with proper care, though.

Awwwwww!!!! So sorry!!!!! :hugs

Guys, need your Opinons. How many hens would this coop on EBay fit(gestamite)?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Huge-8-Chic...ry-Hen-House-Bantam-Extra-Large-/282099365162

  Hmm, I agree with @dragonthehunter
. 4 or 5 hens. Maybe 5 or 6 bantams. It might fit 8-10, if they were sandwiched in there.

I've been getting so many answers.i fell like in total it would fit 12 mixed, 13 bantams or 10 large fowl.

I had this same coop once- and my answer is: ABSOLUTE maximum of five standard hens and MAXIMUM of 8 bantams- if you don't want smothered chickens! :th
