Yeah, we don't really have flat land either, but the cows do fine. We could have horses here, the old owners had a few.

One died from an unknown illness, another was trampled in the box on the way home from the post office, and the other one died from unknown causes.

I am going to get some silkies next year, and I will keep them seperated from my other chickens so any eggs the silkie mom decides to hatch are purebred silkies. I will use her to hatch some other eggs, too. What color of silkie should I get? I found a breeder that is only 1 hour away from me that sells them. Also, do you know of anyone anywhere that will sell and ship chantceler eggs to Canada? The closest breeder to me is in BC, and they don't really sell eggs, they just keep them.

I have Buff, and I have had white silkies, they are just soo sweet!
