Theres nothing against making threads about different topics to talk aboutMaybe you are better to post this on a Catholic site rather than a site that is mostly about chickens? These religious threads tend to cause trouble and arguments. I don't mean to be rude, but why on earth do you only want to talk to Catholics in particular and not other denominations or religions?
Not trying to start anything, but they're right. Though couldve said it better.'people like you can't seem to keep your noses out of them'..........I think that is rather rude.
I just feel these sites should be welcoming for everyone and everyone should feel free to comment or follow any post.
This kind of post is excluding lots of people for no reason other than some religious reason - and that is prejudice in my opinion.
St Francis of Asisi is the patron saint of animalsI'm a Roman Catholic and I love my chickens. I believe you wondered who the patron saint was of animals (maybe only chickens?) St Anthony is the patron saint of all animals. I have a statue of him in my kitchen window with a bird on his arm. He made friends with animals and they were not afraid of him. You can probably search his name and find lots of info. I intent to do that. Will get back later!! MAY GOD BLESS ALL OUR FARM ENDEAVORS!
Yes! I do whenever I can, but my parish is roughly an hour away and we have to stand by the time we get there because its so packedHave any of you ever attended Latin mass?
You should try to find one! I have only ever been to two, but I just thought it was amazing. No actually. I’d love to, not sure if there is one near me though.
My confirmation saint is St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, so probably her. I love reading stories of the saints though, and I greatly admire St. Joan of Arc and St. Maria Goretti.Who is your favorite saint?
That's awesome!!! Our usual parish is about half an hour away. It is...not reverent at all though. We only go there because we have to.Yes! I do whenever I can, but my parish is roughly an hour away and we have to stand by the time we get there because its so packed![]()

Your recent posts are also very correct! Agree! I am getting confirmed very soon. I picked St Brigid! She is Patron Saint of poultry keepers.
yeah we had that issue, when covid rolled around and stuff was closing we watched online for a while. i had many issues with this parish, it was way too liberal and protestant. peoples behavior was disgusting and it infuriated me.You should try to find one! I have only ever been to two, but I just thought it was amazing.
Our closest one is two and a half hours away unfortunately, so we can't go very often though.
