Theres nothing against making threads about different topics to talk about
No one ever complains about how we have an entire RP section to this site
Everyone always causes trouble on these threads though as if to shut them down
Its always the same thing too 'maybe youre better off on a site about this specific topic'
If theres no rules about it its really fair game so long as people are civil

Not trying to start anything, but they're right. Though couldve said it better.
Theres nothing unwelcoming about starting a thread wanting to talk about something specific while also welcoming others. OP never excluded other people
Just because we want to get other people together of the same beliefs to talk about it is not prejudice.
Look at the LGBT chickenkeepers thread
While I dont personally agree with that lifestyle, it started the same way as this one
People complaining about it when the OP just wanted to get others together who share interests
Its prejudice imo to try to shut down a topic just because you think it excludes others, but thats just me.
No hard feelings! Just annoying for the rest of us

St Francis of Asisi is the patron saint of animals
If you read about him you'll see that he was so holy that the birds around would listen to his homilies! Wonderful man!

Yes! I do whenever I can, but my parish is roughly an hour away and we have to stand by the time we get there because its so packed :(
Hola,
Unfortunately the person you responded to posted that 8 years ago, and hasn’t been on since last year.

Also please refrain from calling LGBTQ+ a ‘lifestyle’ as if it was a personal choice to ‘join’ the LGBTQ+. It is inaccurate and offensive. Certainly you made the choice to be part of the heterosexual lifestyle, right?

Instead of saying ‘lifestyle’ maybe you can try these terms: ‘gender identity’ and ‘sexual orientation’ they’re much more efficient in helping describe those who are LGBTQ+ as different, but not through choice.

Thanks.

God youre everywhere arent you
and hell i didnt see that lol
I will not change my statement though, I stand by what I said and I will not change it or apologize. It is not offensive it is a fact. I have my own free right to say what I will, especially if it is a fact.
Thanks

yeah we had that issue, when covid rolled around and stuff was closing we watched online for a while. i had many issues with this parish, it was way too liberal and protestant. peoples behavior was disgusting and it infuriated me.
it was the final straw when we were denied the eucharist multiple times when the church opened back open because we only recieve on the tongue.
i didnt even recieve on my confirmation, i got the ugliest glare from the pastor
That happened at one of the ones we sometimes went to too. It was insane. It was an older priest, and he said for his safety he would only be distributing the Eucharist in the hand. We never do that, but it was a last minute thing so we ended up receiving in the hand, which was later confessed.
But my little brother, who was not paying attention like usual, didn't hear the priest say that. And he tried to receive on the tongue. The priest freaked out, and tried to get it in his mouth from as far away as possible. Then he proceeded to scrub his hands in a dish of water and with hand sanitizer. Like, are you kidding me. I was standing right behind my brother so I saw the whole thing. It was just, gahhhh.
And my poor brother was so upset. He thought he had done something really wrong.

It's so sad what the "Church" is becoming. It's being infiltrated by people who want to undo thousands of years of tradition. I'm about ready to go back underground, the new persecution of Christians has already begun.
