Roo becoming aggressive

It hurts! He means it! Now I am trying to avoid him.

Allowing your rooster to make you move away from him will only make it worse.
One of the most important 'dealing with roosters' rules is to always make him move out of your way.....this establishes your dominance as coop leader.

If you're afraid of him, get rid of him.....they can feel fear and it makes them nervous and more likely to attack you.
Calm and confident but kind is the way to feel when working with male animals.

He pecks when I turn my back. Usually when I make their food up. I am busy and not paying attention. Should I carry a broom?

I wouldn't carry the broom to me it would make him more aggressive I would try not turning my back as much as possible and be firm in voice and soft to like talk to him but firmly. I agree don't show him your fear. I read that's when they know they can but also don't confront like w broom. Which is understandable. But not to them

Also agree if doesn't get better get another roo

I have a rooster that attacks my other roosters cause they are in the same pen together and the hens are in their own pen together how can I get my rooster from attacking my other roosters?

That's what some roosters do; move him out. You can't 'train' him to be different. Some breeds and some individuals will be very aggressive even to flockmates, as they mature. Mary

I had to give away some roosters and separate others. One per pen. I have tried and tried to get them to get along, even free range on 3 acres they still fought.

I would put the aggressive Roos In own coop and put the roo you want to mate w hens in there.

Put the too in with the hens in their own coop. So everyone has their own space
