Roo? Breed?

This is the friendliest of all my chickens and I'd really like it to be a hen and not a roo...however, it was the first one to grow a crown and for a long time didn't get along with the others...now it's just a sweet chicken. It does not, however, crow at all. I have no idea what breed or what gender... sorry that it's sideways...
