Kids come first. "Rehabilitated" roosters can never be completely trusted-- it's just the nature of the beast.
I fully agree with you. I tried many of the methods that were recommended for trying to teach the roo's not to be aggressive with me (talk about biting the hand that feeds you). None of them worked 100 %. Besides once the girls adjusted to the roo being gone, they are more at peace and able to interact with me more without a roo flying at us.
