roo or hen and what breed may it be from?

    I have one just like it...

    I'm thinking Columbian Rock or Delaware. Mine is a roo as well but yours very well might be a pullet... it looks to be about 16 weeks... do you know it's age?

    i haven't the foggiest how old it is but for a buck i'm not complaining .....i wasn't gonna let it go for 50cents lol

    i'm guess you right probably around 16 weeks by compairing it to my reds

    i picked up 4 birds that night at the auction and still have one more to determine the sex and breed ....it's moulting now tho so it's really hard to tell anything about it

    Looks very much like a Delaware to me.

    I am 100% sure that it is a deleware cockerel. He has very good color except for the few feathers in his saddle but overall a good colored bird.
