Roo or Hen - Mystery Breed via Craigslist

Hello people!

Noob here! I hatched this 4 week old chick from backyard mix hatching eggs purchased from Craigslist. Anyone have an opinion whether it’s a male or female?

If you force me to guess, I'll guess cockerel, but that's nothing more than a 'guess' at this age.

Was it a blue egg it hatched out of? With that comb and that floof, I’d guess you have an Easter Egger. I think it’s a boy based on the slight red coming in on its back.

Looks like legbar mix. Female. That would be my guess considering there's no info on parental background. Also mixes usually don't show clear recognizable traits.

During that incubation, only 2 of the 10 eggs hatched. One was light blue and the other one was light brown. Not sure which egg he/she came out of.

That bird might lay Blue eggs since it kinda resembles a legbar. I guessed on the probable sex .

I don't think they bird is going to lay anything. It's a cockerel.
