I have 3 silkies that are 8 months and it's my first time owning them. I have 2 that I were told are bearded silkies and one top knot silkie. I can tell that one for sure is male as he will Crow, make sounds for food and has tried to mate the top knot hen.

The one I'm confused about is the other bearded silkie. It acts as if it wants to crow but no sound comes out, could just be adjusting its coop/crop and it also chases the top knot hen but I've not seen any mounting behavior yet. The clearly Rooster also seems scared of it and I find them not really fighting but him running away from it.

Here are some pictures.
