Roo or hen

Just got a polish mix and unsure if it's a roo or hen

How old? It looks like he has saddle and sickle feathers coming in, so I'm thinking Rooster, but knowing his age would help.

I am not sure, the lady I got it from said she didn't know how old they were but she said if it was a hen it should start laying this fall

Probably a cockerel. I think I can see male saddle feathers.

Cockerel for sure, saddle feathers are there and that swept back crest is cockerel
