Roo or Hen?

Can someone please tell me if my Jimmy is in fact a Jimmy or a Jemmifer? For the past two weeks he has been getting in my nesting boxes and spending part of the day in there. He is so sweet and always jumps in my car to greet me (also to find snacks my kids may have dropped).

Thank you for the quick response… Jemmifer it is. Now I’m curious if it’s her leaving me a egg a day. She is about 9 months old. By chance do you know what kind of hen she is? She was one of 4 that I got from TSC. All my others were ordered from Ideal.

Maybe a Black Minorca, but I don't think TSC carries them. Hopefully @Overo Mare can jump in with her opinions.

Yeah, but she has the white earlobes. And she is hatchery stock.

She is a White Faced Black Spanish pullet, I’m thinking. Looks exactly like the one I have. Her face isn’t fully white either.
