17 week old Welbar. Sexed as female. No spurs or crowing yet but “she” is very vocal with other noises. Today i noticed her being kind of a bully to others but not sure if its just hormones as they should start laying soon. Anyone have any thoughts? We can’t have roosters here. “She” has also been the most skittish til now and is getting kind of bold.

When my Welsummer hen was about that age, she was very vocal, aggressive towards my shoes, and had huge wattles. I, too thought she was a rooster! Soon after that she began laying, and now is a nice, happy hen.

Also, my Welsummers don't have the silver speckles in the feathering like yours. Is that normal for Welsummers?
