Roo or not??

I am so sad!!! I can’t keep him. But yeah he is fast runs all over the place. Bullies my girls once in a while. I thought it was just a pecking order thing. But. guess not.

The feathers on the neck - shiny, and pointed. The comb and wattles bright red much earlier than the pullets, the crow and behavior. Often times these birds appear friendly and forward. I would be pleased that he is a bit skittish, and keeping his distance, and encourage that if you are planning on keeping him.

Truthfully though, if I ever think, 'wait, is that a rooster?' He is.

I can’t keep him. so now I guess I just have to figure out what to do next.

I agree he is a cockerel.

Truthfully though, if I ever think, 'wait, is that a rooster?' He is.

Once I thought one was a cockerel, even went as far as putting him in the bachelor flock for a couple of weeks.
And...'he' was in fact a pullet!
