Funny thing, earlier this week, (just days ago) I asked the sex of two of my chicks. Well this morning one of the two in question started crowing. Funniest darn thing!! My black birchen cochin, Elvira, now ELWOOD. Crowed for the first time, l like my husband said be patient and they will crow or lay eggs!! the timing is just funny!!
Not a peep out of the Millie or the RIR.
I'm going to have the noisiest yard in the neighborhood...
