Roo or pullet?

These 2 are about 5weeks old. Each was a lone chick and Mama ran off and left them. Their are very bonded now. I’m guessing both are cockerels but now the Cuckoo Maran looks a little more like a pullet. Thoughts?

My guess would be both Roos!

The white one is 100% a cockerel, and the other one I think is a cockerel as well.

White one almost positive a boy, but I'm a little stumped on the Cuckoo! I feel like could be a pullet... the lighting making it a little hard to tell for me.

Thanks all! It’s funny I usually don’t get too friendly with a rooster, but the little black one Roo Roo was so pitiful when his mom ran off, that I held him for a few minutes for the first couple days to comfort him.

So happy they have each other now! Just put them in to sleep in the Cluckwagon with the big girls (and Roo) last night for the first time and they are confused but wandering this morning. We’ll see!

What’s making you lean for the cuckoo being a cockerel rather than pullet?

Looks like cockerels... notice the Very thick legs. This is usually my go to check if I am not sure.
