    An Easter Egger. Did you order him from a breeder or a hatchery. I would bet hatchery since the bird was supposedly sexed. No major Hatcheries carry true Ameraucanas or Aracaunas. The carry Easter Eggers, which is basically a mixed breed that has the gene to lay colored eggs, that can range from brown, to green, to blue.

    With the exception of the sex-links sexing day old chicks is at best 90% accurate, that is to say Roos Happen!

    If they are not one of the standardized colors of Ameraucanas according to the APA then the girls are Easter Eggers as well.
