We have a dog that's allowed through the whole middle section of the house. I do think she would still get lonely, but then the male would be with 2 females, making the ratio even worse.

I think my mum might be considering letting me get another bird after seeing how much George now resembles Walter White.

Ok, I'm about to separate her. It's 8:00 pm.
This is the place I'll be keeping her.

I installed a little door for her to get in and out. It's 55x45cm, or 2,475 cm2.

The plan:
She will be alone tonight, and tomorrow I'll spend the whole day with her. I'm calling it 'George day'. We will watch movies together, she will hang around while I do my school assignments and just be together. She will have her temporary house to hide in whenever, because I'll move it to whichever room I take her to. Sunday will be spent partially with me and partially alone. I will move her back in on Monday.

This morning I opened George 's door while doing my makeup and she went and fell asleep in my pajamas it was so cute! She also had a 'dust bath' on my carpet. She then ran over to me and was really puffed up because of my cold room ( the breeze was coming in through the window). She turned into a loaf in my lap, and then went to investigate my makeup and fell asleep against me
I feel like I could scream it was so cuuuteee!!!

After this we will do some painting together and then watch a movie. We are going to rewatch the emperor's new groove ( she hasn't watched that yet). I think she will like it.

Edit: we watched it! She sat in my lap for most of the time and went back into her house to get food and water.
