Is that a cullable offense or normal rooster behavior? I have a white rock rooster that goes after the Indian Runner ducks. They hate it and they all try to run away when he comes after them. When he catches a victim he climbs on their backs and holds their necks down with his beak. So far I haven't seen any lasting damage but it looks savage to me.
Is that normal for roosters? Should I cull him or just shrug? Will the other roosters start doing it too and he's just the first to get caught? Is he just tired of the hens and looking for something fresh or what? They're all about 5 months old.
