personally, I dont' think so. With those guys, I feel its still way too soon to tell. And no, I wouldn't suggest putting a couple of day old chicks in with chicks that are a couple of weeks old. They will be picked on and bullied.

Thanks- I think I will just check back and see - I’m just a small backyard flock - I’m new and I am learning by experience- so far by putting a lot into several chickens I can’t keep. (Hence my fears) here’s to hoping I’m wrong and paranoid
 
When I get chicks, and it is to early to tell by feathers combs and wattles, try watching them. Most always I have been able to pick out the cockerels as they are rowdy little buggers. If they just mill around eating drinking and sleeping they will more than likely be pullets. If they are rowdy little buggers picking on others or amongst each other you more than likely got some cockerels. It isn't a 100% sure thing but keep track as you watch and see what you learn
