Hi! My name is Brooke, I’m new! I read threads often for information but I’ve never posted anywhere like this before. I’m so worried about my Roo. He’s older and has had a bit of a rough life - he’s fought off coyotes and various other intruders so I think he has some level of arthritis anyway but yesterday I noticed his foot and especially his toe are super swollen. My first thought was bumblefoot. My husband as I got him out last night to take a closer look - hubby thinks the toe is broken b/c it’a pointing up. I’m unsure which I’m looking at - still thinking maybe bumblefoot. Hoping someone can take a look at the pictures sans advise… He looked bad yesterday, tail down and not very energetic. We separated him last night, I cleaned the foot and put some like vet mend on it and gave him baby aspirin. This morning he was crowing and clearly wanted out of the box - so I let him out and he’s been eating today, tail a bit perkier but I can tell he can’t walk on it and it looks terrible. Any help so appreciated - he’s my baby!
Thanks in advance…
