Hello, all!

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I’m in a bit of a panic today and looking for expertise to tell me if my fears are valid. My sweet chick is looking more and more like a rooster every day. We aren’t allowed to have roosters within the city limits, so I’m hoping I’m wrong... I welcome any thoughts!

The girls are playing in the rain so please forgive their shabby appearance.

P.S. If it’s not a Roo, she’s HUGE! Bigger than the rest of my flock by far!

Thank you for your expertise!

Welcome! He's very handsome! I don't consider cockerels 'sweet', rather 'bold' and 'sizing me up'. I prefer the boys who avoid me and pay attention to their flockmates instead, and I don't try to hand feed or make 'pets' out of them either.
I do hope that you can rehome him soonest, so put out feelers right away. Or, move to where he can live with you...
Mary
