Roo's breed?

I hatched this chick back in September. He was supposedly an Aracauna. I would like confirmation. It's kind of hard to see in this picture but there are a few feathers hanging down. This was a month ago.
This is a picture from today (horribly lighting, sorry) and those same 3 feathers hang off his rear. His beard and muff have filled out much more though.

Looks like a Araucana with couple tail feathers. Usually this breed is rumpless but on occasion they do grow a couple feathers

Are you in America? (not sure where ft. stewart is).

What color is he supposed to be?

I ask about your location because, in America, Araucanas are supposed to have cheek tufts but no beard of muff. I think you might have an Easter Egger.

Could be an Araucana, just without the cheek tufts. Not all Araucanas will have them, the tufts gene is lethal when two copies are passed to the embryo. A cleanfaced Araucana is one that does not carry the tufting gene and cannot pass it on.

His cheeks are quite fluffy, but he does not have the ear tufts. I found this picture of him, it's the closest I can get of his coloring & face. What would his coloring be called? The black is almost midnight bluish/purple.

He's not an Araucana. He is off SOP. Araucanas should have yellow skin, no tails, no beards and no muffs. They possess ear tufts, He's an Easter Egger becuase he carries the blue egg gene. He's an Easter egger rooster. His color is black, he's just got a lot of red leakage.
