Thesecond of the two banty roo's crow has gone squeaky and squawky, as if their crows weren't intrusive enough. His behavior and appearence hasn't. His old crow was a good loud crow for a banty. Now I have something that sounds like a cat got it's tail in a rocking chair rocker. How Come? He's about a year old +/-

Could be maybe a respitory cold.
when the roosters get lava in there throught, there crow gets weaker and at the end sounds like it is weezing.
Does he do that noise at the end?

Hi Shay,
It's not a wheezy sound...it sounds like a adolescent boy's cracking voice. This is a roo that chooses to sleep outside (vs. the coop that everyone else stays in...he has always been this way) and I think it may have to do with a change of weather. Do birds get allergies?
