Roos?? Hens?? - These EE's have me perplexed!!! NEW PICS ADDED!

I'm still going with roo on the 2 not sure. And if I could see more of the last confirmed hen I might go with roo on that one too.
Don't feel too bad, my first hatch of boughten EE eggs were all roos, even ones that everyone was telling me was a hen. Hope I'm wrong on your chicks.

It's all an experiment gone crazy! Lol :) I'll keep everyone updated - I change my mind every few hours :)

Hmm, looking at them again their combs look tinted pink. At 9 weeks old mine was still had a very pale comb. That and it looks like they have three rows of "peas".

Also, which number is from the original post is the 2nd unsure one? If it's the one I think it is then it's definitely a roo.

I would say wait until they are 12 weeks old to be sure. I had one that I thought for SURE was a boy based on comb and what I thought was red wing feathering. Turned out she was very much a girl!

It's #6 from the original post. It actually is pale, not pink. All of the other questionable ones are tinted, except for this one :)

MySunWolf - If I had any idea way to get the roos across the Canadian border to mail them, I would in a heartbeat! I live 6 hours north of the border though :(

Animals cross the border without passports or other paperwork all the time right?

OK, so you get the Canadian "Chicken Express" to start ferrying them south to the border. MySunWolf arranges to have a nearby BYCer wait on the opposite side with a large bag of BOSS. Trail of BOSS from the border to the car. USA "Chicken Express" ferries them to Virginia.

Done. Now see, wasn't that easy??

I wouldn't give up on those two yet. My two EEs had tiny little combs for a long time. And apparently your's are a mix so who knows what "features" come through from the different breeds.

Assuming the top one is a girl and you get to keep her, I would be interested to see what she looks like at 20, 24 weeks. Persephone changed a lot as she "aged" and I think that one will also. I'm betting it will be a beautiful bird.

How could you name a beautiful chicken after a nasty little girl?? I bet she goes to court to get it changed when she is of age!
