Roost help

We just finished building this today for our coop.
From The floor to the roost bar is 28 inches (20 inches to the “table” then and additional 8 inches up to the bar itself)

Will they need a ramp?

Pretty sure a Lite Brahma is a heavy bird...I have three (that are almost 16 weeks). We are about to build stop at similar to yours. Once done, I'll see who perches and roosts. We will add ladder/ramp or a wood stump if needed.

How wide is your poop board? Any reason the roost is off center? It they roost backwards, will the board be "missed"?

the poop catcher is 16 inches, off centered so the poop will land in the sand I’m placing underneath ( I hope it does anyway lol)

mans now thatyou’ve said that I worry lol. I didn’t think they would roost facing the wall!?

Yup. Most of mine roost facing the wall. If yours also do, maybe you could swing the roost table around the other direction...

They'll face either direction when roosting, though most seem to prefer facing "forward."

One dog eared fence board, strip of plywood and a few screws.
I used use the fence board until the got big, fat and full of eggs.
