Word of advice... get rid of the rooster. Do it now before you end up not being able to go outside. Once the hen gets into full laying mode you will be dealing with this rooster attacking you when you turn your back. You will be walking around constantly watching for him, if the hen who is friendly to you comes close he will look for a chance to spur you when you are not expecting it. It is mild today, it will escalate.
Best resolution for this issue is freezer camp. I have a two year old that my roo attacked and left some nasty scratches on his back. I will never take my chances again. These birds get nastier over time and nothing you do will make it better. Carry him, feed him by hand, do your best, but if your efforts do not result in him chilling out, contact any butcher in the area about a person willing to prep your bird. Then take some time to locate some lovely sisters to keep your hen company as she will not be happy alone. Check Craigslist for hens that are for sale.
Keeping an aggressive pet is just asking for trouble. The bird may not attack you but will attack others when given the chance, there are good roosters out there, raise one from chick or get one from the 4-h kids who are done with their projects (some are really sweet boys). You don't need a roo to get eggs, and your girl will appreciate the peace and quiet she gets from not being bullied by a roo anyway.
Good luck to you!
