Rooster attacked by a dog

My Rooster was attacked by a dog.
I've had him in the shower and I dont see any bleeding. I am not an expert at what to look for .. But he is in shock and is not drinking or eating. He is now in the bathroom away from his girls.. It is warm in there.
I live where there is no emergency for chicken and, is there anything else I can do for him beside wash and keep him warm. He got food and drinking where he is.

Sounds like he got lucky and is just shaken up pretty good. Do what you're doing, if anything I would dose his water with some antibiotics, this is what we use which I'm sure we got at feed store:

And maybe some electrolytes a lil later. I would put some snacks in front him, maybe piece of watermelon or similar. Don't sweat it if he doesn't do much for a while, just keep him safe with food and water available. Hopefully there's no internal damage and he jumps back, good luck.

Side note: if a stray, I hope you caught and killed dog, if yours, whatever you deem best. Our worst massacre was at the hands of our own dogs....

Keep an eye on him.

File a police report to get it documented.
Who's dog?
Do you now the owner? If so, name them in the police report. They owe you compensation.
If its a stray, trap it and shoot it.
If its your dog, time to make a choice. I would chose chickens, but that just me.....

It was my neighbours dog.

Are you on good terms with your neighbor? Have they acknowledged its their fault for letting their dog get into your yard?
Let that be a guide on how to handle it.

My neighbours dog and she was pretty upset. The problem is that I took the risk of letting the hens out. I wasn't worried because the time I lived here i have never seen that dog, just knew he lived there.

Dont be too hard on yourself, Its really the neighbors fault if the dog entered your property.
You should be able allow your birds to roam your backyard without a dog entering your property.
That said, you need take precautions, you need to make sure that the area they "free-range" in is fenced to keep the birds in & dogs out.

He is drinking and eating but he is in pain.

Can he walk? It's good to keep them confined to rest, but let him out at least once a day to move around and assess his condition.
Just keep a close eye out for any wounds you might have missed.
