Rooster: Barred Rock, Dominique, or ?

This guy was with a batch of Barred Rock Hens and roosters but looks completely different. They had more black to them and were single combed. I can't decide for sure what type of comb he has, and if it is in tact or possibly some is missing. Anyone have any thoughts...? The last picture is one of the Barred Rock hens... The other roosters were much darker/had more black to them. Thanks.

So it can still be a Dominique even without the pretty rose comb? I couldn't tell if maybe he started with a single comb and lost part of it to cold or being picked on etc. I know the last one of the hen is a barred rock, that pic is just to show what he was in with. He's got the base of a rose comb. I'm not sure if there was injury, or maybe he just got a bad roll of the genetic dice and wound up with a weird comb.
