Sometimes when I talk to a particular rooster and when he is roosting before bedtime, he does this thing where he repeatedly bows and shivers his head. Has anyone seen this with their rooters? What do you think it means? It’s when I’m talking nicely like a mom putting their chicken kids to bed lol.

Chickens know when you are interacting with them. When they hear you talking to them,,, they feel your vibes. Since they don't speak our lick, they react best they can.
Chickens and our other pets are LOVELY:love creatures.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:highfive:
Thank you, and best to you too :)

It seems positive, maybe letting me know he hears me and is comforted? Also worry I might just be confusing him with too many words.

I have no idea what that would imply, but perhaps he is trying to assess the meaning of your conversation with him?
I have 3 roos, and my first OG roo named Roger has always been respectful of me. When I first got him and he established himself as chicken leader of the flock, he did growl at me a little bit on the second or third day, but I always talked to him casually and gave him space, and never backed away from him. If we caught each other in the doorway, I always stood still until he moved. And he now always makes a special call when he sees me coming, or if he sees me step from around a corner or out of the coop. And he seems to recognize that I am the leader of the flock. We have never had any problems and I love him 😊
