Araucana, not ameraucana. That is what I was told at purchase, and s/he does seem to have the right face shape, cheek tufts. But again, I am no expert, and when I googled trying to find out what type of araucana s/he is I couldn't find anything similar, so you could be right!

...and having just googled Russian orloff I would say you are definitely right!

Yeah she is for sure not a pure Arauacana. I could believe Ameraucana or EE but no way Araucana.

There is a big Russian Orloff thread her on BYC, put a picture up of him on there and see if they too agree.

Thanks! He is lovely, isn't he. He's so tame and enjoys sitting on my arm to eat mealworms. Don't think I could bring myself to get rid of him, whatever

I'm not sure if he has the best colouring for an Orloff, but I am pretty sure he is one.
You can always check by making another thread about him or putting a picture of him on the Orloff thread.
Glad you can keep him, he is amazing!
