Hey y’all! I am getting a White Crested Polish cockerel shipped to me Monday. He is commuting from a cold climate (snow) to a hot climate (50-80 degrees) so I want to help his immune system adjust while he is in quarantine. So, as for my question would Rooster Booster Poultry Booster Poultry Booster be good to help build his immunity??? And also have you ever used Rooster Booster Poultry Booster and what are your thoughts???

I would be wanting to use the vitamins and electrolytes for a couple of days to make sure that he gets hydrated and recuperates from his journey. Some chickens do not like the taste of electrolyte water, so I would have some plain water available as well. It would be good to have his regular feed available. As long as he is drinking well and eating, once he is there, I would stop them after the second day, because the electrolytes can cause diarrhea if used more than a few days. Do you know how long he will be shipped? I would worry a bit about his being shipped in such a cold time of year. Are they putting fruit or Grogel or anything in the box for him to eat while he is in transit. I have never shipped chickens before and probably wouldn’t. If he has been used to outdoors in freezing weather, he may have a bit of trouble adjusting to the heat. Hopefully, he will be fine.

Hello! The family that I purchased him from are big show bird breeders and ship all the time. Not sure if they are putting anything on the box for them but I’m sure they will. He is being shipped overnight. Thank you for your advice!!!
